The sections of our library are divided into five sections. First is the Acquisition Department, followed by the Circulation Department, Serial Department, Cataloging Department and lastly the Reference Department.
2.1 Acquisition Department
The Acquisition section in the library is responsible for the selection and purchasing of materials or resources. This division is in charge of controlling how much money is spent on purchasing supplies. The library also receives books as gifts in the form of Donations.

Secondly is the Circulation Department which circulates materials to users. This department facilitates physical and virtual access to library materials, maintains the library collections, assists library users, coordinates the use and lending course of reserve materials, and performs other activities related to library use and access.

All tasks involved in acquiring and making serials accessible at the Library are within the purview of the Serial Department. 2.4 Cataloging Department
Next is the Cataloging Department. This department is responsible for creating and maintaining libraries’ online catalog of both physical and virtual collections. Cataloging librarians and staff describe, classify, and provide indexing of the libraries’ materials so that the library’s materials are organized for retrieval by library users.
